Early years
Young was born as Chris Alan Young to his mother Becky Harris and Chris Young’s father Michael Harris in their hometown of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Chris was born in the year 1985 and expressed interest in music at a very tender age. His grandfather, Richard Yates was a performer on the Louisiana Hayride. Chris grew up with his parents and his siblings. Chris Young’s brother Carter Harris has been spotted with Chris in public a few times.
He admits that despite the interest that he had in music, up until he was 16, Chris always wanted to be an attorney when he grew up. Things changed for this country music sensation when he realized that he could make a living out of music. While in high school, he performed in various clubs. Family and personal life
